YOU ARE MUCH MORE!

Someone said the most important dates in a person's life are the day you are born and the day you discover who you are!  I believe the greatest discovery you will ever make is who you are called,designed and created to be...and then going forward to bring that person to life!  You are not who they say you are! You are not who your family says you are! You are not who your circumstances say you are...!  There are persons in your journey who may 'see' your destiny and become the ladder, to give you a boost... But to most you are invisible...until you discover #You! They are not meant to 'see' you...so stop fighting and complaining.... The version of you they see is the version that they are allowed to see!  This is because you are responsible for your own search!  It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of Kings to search out the matter! Proverbs 25:2 Your honour is in your discovery! Even Jesus had to find what was written concerning him, his cal...

You must learn to do hard things.... To rise up early to pray... To rise up early to meditate... To write the first chapter of that book.... To take the first step out of that toxic relationship... To delete that number... To call that person.... To heal that hurt... To confront that mountain.... To enroll for that programme... To learn that skill... Change is hard... Forgiveness is hard... Growth is hard.... The courage to do hard things is the initiation rite for growth!

 At 1:30am she wakes me up to take her to the bathroom. I run through the motions, the sooner I can get  her comfortable, the sooner I get back to bed! Then boom! Out of no where she goes... 'Mom...you promised to make golden morn for me before I slept...'! I did not know whether or not to  laugh or cry!       I had had a long day. So unlike the Lamb to the slaughter I opened my mouth, then closed it...and went to the kitchen to prepare her meal. The only one who can wake up a king at 2am in the morning for a glass of water is a child! The moment you make a request to God, he is under pressure to deliver! Mathew 7:7 ampc says  ask and keep asking , seek and keep seeking, knock and keep knocking! In other words be persistent in your request! Do not stop until you see it come to pass! It may be 48days to the end of 2020 regardless! You can still have that miracle! God is under pressure to give you an 11th hour miracle! Be relentless!! Don't stop ask...

I was surprised both by the imagery he created and the fact that he knew what a wrecking ball was used for!  So...I watched Being Mary Jane today. I am not really a fan because I do not agree with some views carried on the show but today's episode spoke to me which is why this post!  Lots of times people ask us, 'how are you doing'? And the response is 'I am fine', 'great', ‘absolutely amazing'! Sometimes we quote our religious refrains ''I am blessed and highly favored', 'blessed beyond measure', ' I am lifted'...and on and on....No offense I am a believer and I speak the language too...! But the truth is, you are not fine! You lie and say you are happy, you smile and say things are fine...but you are carrying a heavy burden, you are carrying a weight that you cannot share! You are hurting, and the burden is crushing you under its weight...! If you do not speak soon, that weight will snuff the life out of you!.  The world we live in is increasing becoming everyone for himself and God for us all. Even the African community which is ...

 So...I had to chase my 3 year old around the house in order to spank her for disobeying me...she decorated the living room with water.... I had a cane some where that her sibling had hid, so I decided to punish everyone, for :            1. Hiding the cane, 2. Protecting her while I was chasing her. They were all crying and screaming and running around.. and away from the cane whilst taking their sister along....! Inspite of the punishment and the tears, ten minutes later she knocks on my door and asks,   "can I come in"? I ignore her. She comes in any way...and goes" I am sorry I disobeyed you..."!       I Ignore her! She then goes, "I wont do it again"!    I say ,"it's ok, I forgive you '! Then she moves on immediately..." what's that? Can I put it on...'?           I reply"when you're a mommy"!  What struck me....? The fact that I had just chased her around the house while s...

 You would have to forgive me...motherhood changed me!!! I used to be very logical and factual and organized! Until children came...I transformed into someone that even I do not recognise sometimes! I can now watch my child turn my living room into a swimming pool..,a bedroom, or a cloakroom or even a kitchen!...without having a heart attack!!!! As I picked up my  daughter this morning and remembered all the havoc the children have caused just within this lockdown...and how still I am choked with emotion when I think of how much I love them... I imagine how much havoc we have caused our heavenly father, how many times He has cleaned up my, your mess;  how many times He did not allow you to reap the consequences of your actions and inaction; how many times He has and continually, watched over us and delivered us from wars we were not even aware of...! Do not let anyone lie to you or clobber you with guilt! God loves you too much to leave you!   God knew you would...
