WE ARE FEARLESS

Last night we were looking at Psalm 27: 1...and I asked my 7-year-old7-year-old son to explain to me how God is our stronghold and refuge...and he says to me "God is a wreaking ball...He destroys anything that comes against us...! I was surprised both by the imagery he created and the fact that he knew what a wrecking ball was used for! Nahum 1:9 GNT "Whatever you plot against the LORD, he will bring it to complete destruction; oppression will not rise up a second time".

So for those asking, God is very much at work! He is wreaking destruction on anyone and everything that has risen up against you! You may not see Him like you desire to, but He is always on time! He never misses an appointment! If you did not see Him in the morning, then there is a noon or evening or even a night appointment with him! He keeps His promises over your family, over this nation! If He says it, He will do it! His credit is good.

Today is exactly 70 days to the end of 2020!! I believe it is prophetic! We can still achieve the things we planned for this year! Yes indeed, in spite of what we see and hear! We are called to FEARLESS living! That is a different spirit, the kind that Joshua and Caleb had...and they were able to possess the promised land of Canaan.

 Numbers 14: 24..' But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it.'

The NLT calls it 'a different attitude...' There were giants but they did not acknowledge them...they did  the reverse of what the rest of Isreal did...they reduced the giants to grasshoppers in their mind!!! They knew the God who declares in Isaiah 41:10

"So do not fear,for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Do not speak the fear, destruction and mayhem you see and hear, do not join the violence, turn off every voice that brings news that can steal your peace and turn your heart to Jesus!            He is our peace!

We already have the victory! We have already won because the seed of God is in us!

 We have been rescued from our enemies so we can serve God without fear! Luke 1:74

So extinguish the fear, suffocate it with your words to a nonentity and declare what God says about you! We have the victory!

HOW ARE YOU DOING?

 So...I watched Being Mary Jane today. I am not really a fan because I do not agree with some views carried on the show but today's episode spoke to me which is why this post!  Lots of times people ask us, 'how are you doing'? And the response is 'I am fine', 'great', ‘absolutely amazing'! TURN YOUR PROPHESY TO A WEAPON

 One of the greatest books that impacted me as a university undergraduate is a book called WHERE THERE IS NO DOCTOR - A VILLAGE HEALTH CARE MANUAL written in 1970 by David Werner.  It is compendium of hacks that can be deployed when faced with emergency situations that occur in everyday life in the absence of medical personnel.  The connection would seem farfetched   until you understand the trend of my thought.  You see, I applied it as an undergraduate in the university leaving home for the first time in my life.  I had been sheltered, never travelled anywhere and I found myself on my own  for the first time.  I decided I would learn to be my own doctor and flowing from that my own prophet! we are a generation that are constantly spoon-fed.
