The Red Car Theory

 Are you familiar with the Red Theory? Let me put it this way…

Have you ever decided to buy a red car or any other make of car, or any item for that matter in a particular colour, and suddenly started seeing red cars , or that particular car or things,everywhere?

The truth is, the cars were always there.

You simply became aware of them.

Life works the same way.

When you focus on problems, disappointments, betrayal, and failure, your mind begins to collect evidence and data that confirms your fears. Soon it feels as though pain is everywhere and hope is nowhere.

If you then intentionally, focus on opportunities, growth, kindness, favour, possibilities, and purpose, something interesting happens…you begin to see them everywhere too.

The opportunities were there!

The helpers were there!

The ideas were there!

The open doors were there!

Your attention simply wasn't tuned to them yet.

This is the power of perspective.

What you consistently look for often determines what you consistently find.

It’s the tactic the algorithm on social media deploys. The system repeatedly brings to you what you constantly or even casually look at.

If you wake up every day expecting rejection, you may overlook acceptance.

If you expect defeat, you may miss the opportunities hidden inside the struggle.

If you believe nothing good can happen to you, your mind may ignore the evidence when good things arrive.

So today, adjust your focus and the  lenses of your mind!

Train your eyes to notice possibilities.

Train your mind to recognize opportunities.

Train your heart to expect growth.

This is not to circumnavigate the idea that life is perfect or that challenges do not exist but to amplify your senses to see beyond the obstacles 

because where attention goes, awareness follows.

Maybe your "red car" should be purpose.

Maybe it should be gratitude.

Maybe it should be healing.

Maybe it should be faith.

Whatever you choose to focus on, you'll begin to see more of it.
