A wise person once said that marriage is like Abakaliki rice, no matter how you wash it, you see stones...your ability to navigate the stones and the rice determines whether or not you will enjoy or endure your marriage. 🌺❤️💕
The reason you are coming up with all kinds of wrong relationships is that you are looking for perfection.🥰💗🙈
Marriage is the union of two imperfect people who find perfection in their ability to complement each other!🌺💕❤️♀️
This is not a validation of negative values or bad habits!❤️🙏🏿
There are traits in a partner that you should not permit, accommodate, excuse, or facilitate..." before marriage"!💞
In other words, you should ensure that you observe that person, expose them to your family, friends, and those you honour, as they do you!

 So...I watched Being Mary Jane today. I am not really a fan because I do not agree with some views carried on the show but today's episode spoke to me which is why this post!  Lots of times people ask us, 'how are you doing'? And the response is 'I am fine', 'great', ‘absolutely amazing'!  One of the greatest books that impacted me as a university undergraduate is a book called WHERE THERE IS NO DOCTOR - A VILLAGE HEALTH CARE MANUAL written in 1970 by David Werner.  It is compendium of hacks that can be deployed when faced with emergency situations that occur in everyday life in the absence of medical personnel.  The connection would seem farfetched   until you understand the trend of my thought.  You see, I applied it as an undergraduate in the university leaving home for the first time in my life.  I had been sheltered, never travelled anywhere and I found myself on my own  for the first time.  I decided I would learn to be my own doctor and flowing from that my own prophet! we are a generation that are constantly spoon-fed.
