Jeff had made his noble intentions known to Lisa subtly then overtly when subtility had become ineffective. He had popped the question. The question he had never asked any other Woman in his life. He  was a good guy who loved the Lord, serving faithfully, comfortable, with a good job! Why would she not just say yes?
Ngozi had met the requirements for the job. She was invited for the oral and written tests, which she aced....The company had congratulated her. It has been more than a  Month since they said her appointment letter would come in, yet no call. She had even reached out to Human Resources as a last resort, but no feedback!
Noella and Nora are twins born on the same day, had done everything together... up until now! Noella was getting married and Nora was not even in a relationship! How long would she have to wait?

Can we be real?
W a i t I n g  is  h a r d!
It can drain all energy, resolve and sometimes, drive a person to despondency and desperation!
But...it is a weapon in God's arsenal, a strategy He deploys to get your attention, build your trust, spare you grief and move you into your purpose!
Waiting  forces deception to reveal itself!
Waiting allows you to delay gratification and helps you learn the virtue of patience and self control.
Waiting are God's speed bumps to save your life and to walk you into your destiny....

Waiting is h a r d!
It takes all your energy and sometimes the pressure is almost too much to handle.

Have you noticed that the only people who cannot stand any sort of delay or waiting are babies, infants and children.
They want it yesterday!!!
Only children struggle to wait.
Maturity requires that you wait.

W a i t i n g is hard ...but you have a choice to have your beans half cooked because you are too posh to wait!
Many years ago the Holy Spirit said to me" nothing is as urgent as it first appears"!
Many years ago someone was trying to get my attention, he was so persuasive, had done everything right, I had no reason to say No...but I wanted to be sure because I had this  unsettling feeling in my spirit. As I knelt in my dimly lit room talking to God, eyes closed, I saw written in bright flourescent light..W A I T!
That was all I needed!
It was enough!
I stood up...and  I can tell you for free, it was worth the wait!

When God says wait, He always has a better plan.

Yes, there are times when either by omission or commission delays are our creation or an attack of the enemy, even then God can deploy it to collapse the time, and accelerate your progress...and you will find that you have lost nothing!

I still struggle with waiting, because truly it is h a r d...but now I understand that it will always be for my good...
Psalm 40:1-3 MSG
" I waited and waited and waited for God. At last he looked; finally he listened. He lifted me out of the ditch, pulled me from deep mud. He stood me up on a solid rock to make sure I wouldn’t slip. He taught me how to sing the latest God-song, a praise-song to our God. More and more people are seeing this: they enter the mystery, abandoning themselves to God".

And the result of waiting, 'God throws a Party for you...'!Psalm 40:8

So...

While I wait,
I'll dance in the rain,
I'll make lemonade and have the best time,
I"ll enjoy where I am,on the way to where I am going!

I'll thank you for all You are,
And trust that the wait is for my good!
When the wait is over,
I will be stood, in my crown!

While I  wait,
I'll learn all I need in this season, because I may need it in the next,
I'Il prepare for the open door I am seeking in the place of kneeling!
I'll  meditate not on the past but on Your promises...
While I wait!
